Meeting Fails Before Middletown Council Can Receive Investigation Report

The common council left city hall Monday night without seeing a report on an investigation into claims against the mayor. The meeting was ruled invalid because it failed to pass the standards for a legally called meeting.

Council members expected to receive a report from an attorney hired to investigate claims against Mayor Daniel Drew of gender discrimination and unfair treatment by a female manager in the school district.
