Teens Charged In Shooting In Middletown: Police
Two teens, ages 15 and 16, have been arrested in connection with a shooting in which the occupants of one vehicle shot at another vehicle.
MIDDLETOWN, CT — Two juveniles, ages 15 and 16, were arrested Wednesday in connection with a recent shooting in Middletown, according to police.
The Middletown Police Department's Emergency Response Team, along with the Major Investigations Unit and Patrol Division, served search and seizure warrants at two undisclosed addresses in Middletown on Wednesday, according to police.
Police said the warrants were served based on information developed during the investigation of a shooting on Westfield Street around 11:50 a.m. on March 25.

“During that incident, the occupants of one vehicle shot at occupants of another vehicle on Westfield Street,” police wrote in a news release. “At that time, information was developed that this was not a random act of violence and it was believed that the involved parties knew one another.”
Police said both residences were “secured without incident” and the two juveniles were arrested and taken into custody.

They were each charged with two counts of criminal attempt to commit first-degree assault, commission of a Class B felony with a firearm, unlawful discharge of a firearm, first-degree reckless endangerment, possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, and third-degree criminal mischief.
