
The Board of the Jonah Center takes great pleasure in inviting you to attend its first ever Forest and Garden Party on Saturday, July 14, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the South Middletown home of JCEA Board member Jon Morris and his wife Pam Frost. In seven-and-a-half years they have transformed their twenty-five-acre property into a beautiful and inspiring model of sustainable living, including
- vegetable gardens, fruit trees, perennials
- solar-heated swimming pool and solar panels on the house
- stone and wood decorative features Come and enjoy the company of others who care about the environment while touring the gardens, undertaking a treasure hunt in the forest, and hearing live music performed by Cash Lane Slim. Delectable, healthful refreshments, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages will be served. You may purchase a ticket to the event by making a $10 per person on-line payment the Jonah Center website and writing “July 14” on the form. Space is limited to 45 persons. Once your payment is received, we will provide the address and directions to the site. We will give special recognition to those who come by bicycle or carpool with at least 2 other people.
