MILFORD, CT — The New York Times took an interest in Milford and produced a lengthy profile of the small city with a big heart. In an article entitled, "Milford, Conn.: A Pretty New England City That’s ‘Just Big Enough’" the writers detail why Milford is so appealing to "second-home buyers, retirees and empty-nesters."

The story begins with Alen Ilic who just moved to Milford and he describes how welcoming his neighbors were including sending a fruit platter and notes.

“That pretty much sums up how people behave around here — they’re so welcoming,” said Mr. Ilic, 46, told the New York Times... “It happens all the time. People say ‘good morning,’ and it’s so nice.”
