Fotis Dulos Estate Insolvent, No Money Left To Heirs: Report
In related news, the trial of Kent Mawhinney, one of the suspects in the disappearance of Jennifer Farber Dulos, is moving forward.

NEW CANAAN, CT — The estate of the late Fotis Dulos, the man suspected of murdering his estranged wife Jennifer Farber Dulos, has been deemed insolvent, and as such, his five children and mother-in-law will not receive any money from it, reported the Greenwich Time.
Dulos died in January 2020, roughly eight months after his estranged wife disappeared, and he was charged with kidnapping and murdering her. Jennifer Dulos is presumed to be dead, and her body has not been found.
He left behind assets totaling just under $400,000, but had debts of nearly $550,000, according to the publication, based on probate court documents. Among his creditors is his former mother-in-law, Gloria Farber, who won financial judgements against him for money he claimed were gifts, but she said were loans.

A trial date has not been scheduled, but Judge John Blawie said during a remote hearing Tuesday that new pre-trial hearing dates no longer need to be scheduled, unless a new motion or information crops up.
Mawhinney, a former attorney and friend of Fotis Dulos, and Michelle Troconis, Fotis's ex-girlfriend, are charged with conspiracy to commit murder in the case. Both have pleaded not guilty, and both are free on bail.
Troconis's case is still in the pre-trial phase, and her next court date is scheduled for Feb. 15.
