New Canaan Woman Arrested for Violation of Protective Order Again

It's the second time this month that the woman has been charged with violating a protective order.

A New Canaan woman was arrested for criminal violation of a protective order for the second time this month.

Police were dispatched to a Forest Street residence on Dec. 26 regarding a dispute in front of a residence.

Officers saw Jessica Kunz, 32, sitting on a sidewalk. Further investigation revealed that she violated a protective order by being near the residence and having contact with a victim, police said.

She was arrested and charged with criminal violation of a protective order and was held in lieu of $5,000 bail. She appeared in court Dec. 28.

Kunz was arrested on Dec. 9 for violation of a protective order.
