The long-treasured property is described as solid, spacious, and full of character, with a bright, sun-filled kitchen that stands out as a key feature.
   

2. City asks for state approval to lower speed limits near beaches, Woodbury Avenue (nancyonnorwalk.com) — Norwalk's Traffic Authority has asked the state to drop speed limits from 30 to 25 mph on dozens of residential streets around Woodbury Avenue, Rowayton beaches, and Calf Pasture Beach. If approved, the change would align limits with actual driving speeds, support new sidewalks, and respond to residents' safety concerns for walkers, cyclists, and young families.
   

3. BGM enters Connecticut market (accountingtoday.com) — A longtime Norwalk accounting firm, R. L. DePanfilis & Co., has been acquired by Minnesota-based BGM, bringing the national firm its first foothold in Connecticut. Norwalk clients will keep working with the same local professionals, but now with access to expanded tax, audit, advisory, and wealth management services backed by a larger New England network.
   

4. Sacred Heart University Students Conduct Research At Manresa Wilds In Norwalk (patch.com) — Work is ramping up to turn Norwalk's former Manresa Island power plant into the Manresa Wilds park, with Sacred Heart University students deeply involved in ecological research on the site. Their projects range from salt marsh restoration to bird and horseshoe crab studies, helping shape both the future park's design and how Norwalk's shoreline can better withstand climate and flooding challenges.
