Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued for Norwich
It looks like the area will begin to receive some much needed rain over the coming days.

The National Weather Service has issued both a Hazardous Weather Outlook and an Air Quality Alert for all of southern Connecticut on Thursday including Fairfield, New Haven, Middlesex, and New London counties.
The National Weather Service cautions that thunderstorms this afternoon could produce isolated damaging wind gusts.
Additionally, an Air Quality Alert is in effect from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday, which means that “ground level ozone within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards,” the National Weather Service states.
