Man Arrested for Dealing Narcotics Around City: Norwich Police

Police said a Norwich man was recently arrested​ for allegedly dealing narcotics around the city.

NORWICH, CT - Police said a Norwich man was arrested Wednesday afternoon for allegedly dealing narcotics around the city, the New London Day reported. The suspect was also charged with possessing fentanyl, crack cocaine and heroin at the time of the incident, police said.

Police said officers found Odilio Gonzalez, 31, as he was attempting to sell heroin to another man, according to the New London Day. Officers subsequently located 321 baggies of heroin and fentanyl and 14 baggies of crack cocaine while searching the suspect's hotel room, police said. Police said the suspect is due to appear in court Thursday, according to the New London Day.
