• Driver admitted cocaine, alcohol use before 65-mph Old Lyme crash, cops say (ctpost.com) — A driver is facing new assault and reckless endangerment charges stemming from a 2025 crash on Four Mile River Road in Old Lyme that seriously injured a passenger and damaged a utility pole. Police say she admitted using alcohol and cocaine before allegedly speeding up to 65 mph. She's free on bond and due in New London Superior Court on Aug. 18.
