Ridgefield Police Report Pedestrian Crash, Assault Arrest And DUI Case (patch.com) — Ridgefield police are reporting a pedestrian struck in a Grove Street crosswalk, with the victim taken to Danbury Hospital and an 85-year-old local driver cited. Officers also served an assault warrant tied to an Ethan Allen Highway incident and arrested a Danbury man on Ethan Allen Highway on DUI and failure-to-appear charges.

Kelly Sinnapah Mary: Between earth and sea (as-coa.org) — Ridgefield's Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum will host Kelly Sinnapah Mary's first solo museum exhibition, "Between earth and sea," from February 7 to June 14, 2027. The show, co-organized with New York's Americas Society, will feature about forty works exploring Caribbean heritage, colonial legacies, and ecofeminist themes, alongside public programs and the artist's first monograph.

She's one of six Connecticut players in the top 25, underscoring the state's growing strength in high school lacrosse.

5. Rhiannon Giddens Extends Tour into 2027 │ Exclaim! (exclaim.ca) — Ridgefield music fans can look forward to Rhiannon Giddens bringing her new tour to the Ridgefield Playhouse on February 24, 2027, as part of an expanded international schedule. The Grammy-winning Americana artist is adding dates across North America and Europe to celebrate her album release, with tickets going on sale September 18.
