Lacrosse Camp Coming in August

If you're child is looking for something to do in August and is a big fan of lacrosse, then the Rocky Hill Parks & Recreation Department has just the thing for you: camp!

The department is currently accepting applications for its lacrosse camp, which will be run by Future Fitness Sport Specific Training, LLC, for girls and boys from fifth through eighth grades. The camp, which costs $110, will run from Aug. 13 through Aug. 17 at the Sunny Crest Field 2.

Coaches from Future Fitness will focus on honing offensive and defensive skills, teach players on how best to strengthen their bodies to preform on the field and increase their speed and agility with chasing after balls or opposing players. 

Each camper must have his or her own sneakers or cleats and gloves, and a stick and helmet are required. To register, call (860) 258-2772 or visit the parks department's website.
