Photos: Rocky Hill Wins District 7 Softball Championship
Erin Kelly got the victory over Glastonbury last week and now, the team will play five games from July 5 to 12.
A team of 11 and 12 year-old girls from Rocky Hill won the District 7 softball championship last Sunday and will compete this weekend in the sectional tournament in Waterford.
There is no rest for the District 7 champs as they will play in at least five games over the course of five days. The first game was scheduled for Thursday evening with the championship on July 12.

On July 1, the Rocky Hill team defeated Glastonbury, 8-4, at Glastonbury High School with Erin Kelly getting the victory. District 7 includes teams from Newington, Rocky Hill and Glastonbury.
The manager of the Rocky Hill team is Mike Fisher and assistant coaches are Steve Kurdziel and Tom Kelly.
