Rocky Hill Residents Arrested by State Police
Two people were charged with driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol during the holidays, according to state police.

State police arrested two Rocky Hill residents for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol this holiday weekend.
On Wednesday, Mark W. Epstein, 55, of 287 West St. was driving on Farmington Avenue in Hartford just before 10 p.m., according to police. When state police pulled him over for a motor vehicle violation and he was arrested.

He was charged with operating a motor vehicle under influence of drugs/alcohol and failure to give right of way/yield.
Epstein was released on $1,500 bond and is expected to appear at Superior Court in Hartford on Dec. 8.

On Sunday, Paula Agudelo-Espana, 26, of 102 West St., was traveling on I-84 westbound near exit 43 in West Hartford just after 2 p.m.
Agudelo-Espana was stopped at a stationary DWI enforcement checkpoint and was given a field sobriety test, state police said. However, Agudelo-Espana did not pass the test and was arrested, state police stated.
She was charged with operating a motor vehicle under influence of drugs/alcohol. Agudelo-Espana was released on $500 bond and is expected to appear at Superior Court in Hartford on Dec. 15.
