Wethersfield-Rocky Hill Rotary Club teams up with Hartford Wolf Pack for NICU WebCam Fundraiser

The Rotary Club of Wethersfield-Rocky Hill, CT is joining forces with five other area clubs to raise enough money to help families bond with their infant children who are patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the University of Connecticut (UConn) Health Center in Farmington. The goal is to raise enough money to fund a web camera for each of the 40 incubators in the UConn Health Center NICU and eventually to purchase cameras for the 32 incubators in the NICU at the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center (CCMC) in Hartford. The idea is that parents, families, and friends of the premature or ill infants can connect with the babies via the Internet even when the families cannot physically be at the hospital.

We are hosting a fundraiser at the home-opener of the Hartford Wolf Pack on Saturday, October 18th. Tickets are $15 with $5 of every ticket going directly towards a WebCam. If you cannot attend, supporters can purchase a “fundraising ticket” to support the cause.
