South Windsor Police Charge Man with Assaulting Co-Worker
The man is accused of striking the victim in the face during a workplace argument.

South Windsor police arrested a Newington man for allegedly striking a co-worker in the face during an argument and causing a significant eye injury.
Daniel Laflamme, 45, was arrested March 7 on a warrant and charged with second-degree assault.
Police said Laflamme’s charge stems from a Jan. 25 incident at his workplace on Chapel Road. During the course of an argument, Laflamme struck the victim in the face and caused a significant injury to his eye, according to police.

The incident was later reported to police and an arrest warrant was obtained and served Saturday.
Laflamme was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond. He is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on March 19.
