Police: Man Killed in Stamford After Accidentally Spilling Coffee on Suspect, Two Arrested
A man and a juvenile were arrested after a city man was stabbed to death last week.

Two people were arrested after a Stamford man was brutally stabbed to death after he accidentally spilled coffee on at least one of the murder suspects, according to police.
Stamford Police have charged a man and a juvenile in connection with a stabbing homicide outside of a McDonald’s last week in Stamford.
Police arrested James McLamb, 22, of Harding Place in New Haven and a 15-year-old juvenile from Stamford.

The two were charged with murder.
Antonio Muralles, 52, was killed by a stab wound to the heart that occurred on March 11. Firefighters were responding to an unrelated call around 8:17 p.m. when they saw a man collapse at the corner of Bedford and Broad streets, said Lt. Diedrich Hohn.

A group of three to five people had assaulted Muralles after he spilled coffee and tried to apologize, according to NBC Connecticut.
Muralles, a Guatemala native, was transported to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery. He succumbed to his wounds shortly after 1 a.m.
Detectives quickly put the case together after pouring through hours of video surveillance tapes. A Stamford Police narcotics officer forwarded valuable information from a confidential informant about the identities of suspects. Additionally a person came forward and provided a statement that he/she was a witness to the attack.
Stamford Police received information that McLamb was in custody in New Haven on an unrelated weapons charge, Hohn said.
He was transported to Stamford and held in lieu of a $2 million bond.
The juvenile male was taken into custody at his home on the East Side of Stamford.
Police the work of Sgt. DiCarlo, Officer Boeger and Officer Franzetti along with members of the community who came forward with information.
The killing was the first homicide of 2015 in Stamford.
