Original story:
The National Weather Service this morning issued a “Hazardous Weather Outlook” for all of Fairfield County and the northern part of New Haven County for the chance for stormy weather this afternoon and evening.
“Severe thunderstorm development is possible this afternoon and evening as a cold front passes through the region. Gusty winds, hail, lightning strikes and locally heavy rainfall with be possible in the strongest storms,” the NWS writes.
The good news is once we get past today’s possibly stormy forecast we’re looking at a great weather day on Friday with sunny skies and temps in the mid 70s, and on Saturday there will be sun and also a chance of more storm, but on Sunday it will be mostly cloudy with a chance of rain throughout the day.
