Penguin Plunge to Benefit Special Olympics Will Return to Tolland

Event will take place on March 25th

Special Olympics Connecticut is pleased to announce dates for its upcoming Penguin Plunge events, including the Tolland Penguin Plunge. Participants in the Plunge will jump into the chilly waters of a lake or Long Island Sound to support the organization's year-round sports, health and fitness programs for athletes around the state and help create communities that accept and include people of all abilities.

The Tolland Penguin Plunge will be hosted by members of the Connecticut State Police Department, Troop C and UConn Police Department and take place at Crandall Park, 120 Cider Mill Road in Tolland on Saturday, March 25th. Participants must be at least eight years old and register for $25. All are asked to raise an additional $75 to total $100 to plunge. To find out more, register and donate, visit soct.org/plunge.
