Missing Trumbull Teen Carolyn Lindsey Found
Carolyn had been missing for more than three months.

Update: Police sent out a notification that Sam Foley’s Silver Alert has been cancelled as of Saturday afternoon.
Police reported early on Jan. 3 that missing Trumbull teenager Carolyn Lindsey had been found.
State Police sent out an alert shortly after 12 a.m. that the case had been resolved.

Lindsey’s father Charles Lindsey called police around 11 p.m. Jan. 2 informing them that his daughter returned home said Lt. Leonard Scinto, Trumbull police spokesman. Police confirmed the account and cancelled the alert.
Lindsey’s case drew attention across the state and was even spotlighted on Nancy Grace’s HLN show.

Carolyn went missing on Sept. 20 and was last seen getting off the train at the Harlem-125th Street station. She may be with Sam Foley, 16, of Clinton a fellow student and reported boyfriend. The two attended Grove School in Madison.
Foley went missing in mid-August. Police hadn’t cancelled Sam’s Silver Alert as of 12:15 a.m.
