Doug Wahlberg Band

Saturday, August 13, 8pm | FREE | Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts

“The Doug Wahlberg Band is f-ing great and a must see for all fans of Classic Guitar Rock!” – Neal Smith of Alice Cooper.

“The energy he and his band bring to his live gigs is infectious. Great guitar licks and real good originals, too” – Mike Horyczun, Music Journalist. Norwalk Hour/Wilton Villager/Stamford Times Radio Host

Doug Wahlberg Band has been electrifying audiences for years, performing originals most cannot distinguish from mainstream radio play. While reminiscent of British and American classic rock, The Doug Wahlberg Band brings a modern approach to a retro sound. Their music – a unique brand of classic guitar rock and roll – has traveled international airwaves and stages. The east coast based Doug Wahlberg band brings an incredible energy and sound to every stage they rock.

Band members have resumes that boast performances with the unparalleled talents of The Doors, Neal Smith, Jose Feliciano, and Ian Hunter. The band has opened for classic acts such as Paul Simon, Foreigner, Blue Oyster Cult, The Ramones, Eddie Money, Rick Derringer, and Cheap Trick. Doug has worked on projects that included such legends as Rick Derringer, Elton John’s lyricist Bernie Taupin, and Bowie’s guitarist and producer Mick Ronson.

Note: Lawn & Concession open to the public one hour before show-time. Facility is closed to public during load-in and sound-check. Picnics are welcome. The Levitt Pavilion and its perimeter is a non-smoking area. Pets are not allowed.
