• Support Wethersfield Students and Teachers at McTeacher Night on October 13, 2026 (regionalmedianews.com) — Wethersfield families are invited to McTeacher Night on Tuesday, October 13, from 5–7 PM at McDonald's, where school staff will help serve meals to raise money for local classrooms. Twenty percent of all sales, including drive‑thru, will support Wethersfield field trips and educational needs. Students can also compete for a special classroom prize by showing up in force.
   

• 18 people arrested after June street takeover in Newington (wtnh.com) — An ongoing Newington police investigation into a massive July street takeover has led to 18 arrests, including a 30-year-old resident of Wethersfield facing multiple reckless driving and street takeover charges. Officers say about 200 ATVs, dirt bikes, and mopeds blocked traffic and performed dangerous stunts along the Berlin Turnpike. More arrests are expected, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
