Police Arrest Woman in Credit Card Theft Case

The investigation began in 2018, and led to the arrest of one man earlier this month

WILTON, CT — Police have made a second arrest in a 2018 case where credit cards were stolen from a parked car and used in Meriden and North Haven.

Erica Kiley, 30, of Lighthouse Road in New Haven, turned herself into police headquarters in Wilton after learning of a warrant for her arrest, according to the police report.

The investigation was begun following the theft of a wallet in Wilton last October, and led to the arrest of Kenneth Sarcione, 35, earlier this month. Surveillance footage showed a vehicle which resembled Sarcione's, as well as a female suspect now known to be Kiley.

Kiley was charged with conspiracy to commit larceny, sixth-degree larceny, third degree identity theft, conspiracy to commit identity theft, and illegal use of a credit card. She was held in lieu of a $30,000 bond and was arraigned at the Norwalk Superior Court on July 26.
