"Evening with Artists" Event at the Watergate gallery

On Thursday evening, August 6, from 6 - 7:30pm is the event, "Evening with Artists" of "The American Mosaic" exhibition at the Watergate gallery in Washington DC showcasing a variety of artwork by notable DC area artists associated with the gallery. "The American Mosaic" group exhibition is a Summer season exhibition that commemorates the 250th birthday of the United States of America while celebrating the togetherness and diversity of what makes America.

The artists on exhibit will be talking to the audience on Thursday evening about their vision and concepts behind their work. Amongst one the artists who will be speaking about her work, is acclaimed artist, Vian Borchert, who is known for abstracted blue seascape and skyscape paintings that underscore the belief that beauty, hope, and renewal remain ever present through the resilience of the human spirit.

The Watergate Gallery is located at the iconic Watergate building complex's lower floor by the Watergate shops. From the street level, take the escalator down to the shops area to get to the gallery.
