• FDA Concerns Over Asbestos Testing of Talc in OTC Drugs (lanierlawfirm.com) — A Largo-based over-the-counter drug manufacturer, Formulated Solutions, was cited by the FDA for not adequately testing talc used in some products for asbestos and other quality measures. The company says it has stopped making talc-containing drugs, but regulators insist that any future production must include stronger testing and documentation, highlighting ongoing federal scrutiny that could affect local jobs and industry reputation.
