Teacher Loved By Students, Faculty At Lake Shipp Dies Of COVID-19

A 41-year-old teacher at Lake Shipp Elementary School died of COVID-19 Monday morning, according to school officials. Kelly Peterson had a weak immune system and her doctors advised her against getting vaccinated. Kelly taught virtually last year, but couldn't do that this year.
