Person Escaped New Port Richey House Fire: Officials
One person was able to get out of a New Port Richey home that was on fire without any injuries, Pasco County Fire Rescue said.

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — A person home at the time of a New Port Richey house fire was able to get out safely, Pasco County Fire Rescue wrote in a social media post. (Watch a video of firefighters battling the blaze below.)
Pasco County crews responded to reports of a fire Tuesday evening in the 9000 block of Star Trail in New Port Richey.
Flames and smoke were seen coming from the home as firefighters arrived at the scene, PCFR said.

They were able to put out the fire and there were no injuries.
Investigators are working to determine the fire’s cause.
