Woman Killed In Pasco Crash That Lands 2 Vehicles In Ditch: FL Troopers
A teen who failed to stop for a stop sign hit an SUV at a Pasco County intersection, FHP said. A Dade City woman died in the crash.
PASCO COUNTY, FL — A 45-year-old Dade City woman was killed in a Wednesday evening crash that landed two vehicles in a ditch — one overturned, the other caught fire, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.
A 16-year-old Dade City boy was heading north on Curley Road in a Ford F150 around 6:45 p.m.
At the same time, the woman, driving an Audi Q5, was heading west on Saint Joe Road.

The teen failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of the two roads and hit the SUV, FHP said.
The crash redirected both vehicles off the road and into a ditch.

The truck became engulfed in flames, while the SUV overturned and the woman was thrown from it, FHP said.
The teen was brought to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The woman died at the scene.
