As we approach this holiday season, what are you thankful for?
My husband (died) on Jan.7, 2022 . Thirteen days after he was buried, I found out that I had breast cancer, My husband had lung cancer. We had been married for 50 years and I could have gave up anytime but God gave me strength to go through five months of chemo. (I) lost (my) left breast and eight lymph nodes. (It) was stage three when it was found. My place where I lived was falling down around me. My granddaughter started a GoFundMe (fundraiser) but no one donated, so my son-in-law took overtime at work to get me another place to live and has been working on it. It still has work to be done, but by the grace of God, it will be finished one day. My son-in-law is a fireman and can only work on his days off. I'm thankful for him but mostly for God giving me what I needed in life to live: my oncologist, my surgeon, my family. But God gets all the honor and glory for putting people in my life to be my support team. The money has been short coming in but we will make it. Some material was donated but even though it was used I love it
