Curated furniture by Dwell Home Market and indoor tropical houseplants from Yura Vine Brothers will open in Water Street Tampa in October.
TAMPA, FL — Two new retailers — a local furniture store and a boutique plant shop — are coming to Water Street Tampa this fall, announced the developer of Water Street, Strategic Property Partners LLC.
Dwell Home Market, a Tampa-based retail furniture and home décor concept, will open a pop-up showroom and store on the ground floor of Asher, and Yura Vine Brothers, a local boutique plant store, will open on the ground floor of Cora. Both stores are expected to open in the mixed-use neighborhood in October.

“As Water Street Tampa continues to expand, we want to provide a variety of interesting and innovative merchants,” said Lee Schaffler, chief portfolio officer for SPP. “We are proud to support local businesses and highlight these homegrown Tampa retailers.”
Founded by interior designer Kristy Craig Anderson and operator Jeff Kale as an extension of Dwell Staging, the largest home staging company in Central Florida, Dwell Home Market is a local, family-owned furniture showroom.
Dwell keeps an extensive inventory in stock at all times, helping consumers avoid the long shipping timelines and delays that often come with buying furniture. In addition to a curated collection of best-selling pieces, the Water Street Tampa pop-up will feature a bar, custom artwork, events and trained interior stylists on hand to offer design assistance.
Dwell Home Market’s showroom will span 2,988 square feet at 1050 Water St., in the retail space that housed Lucy Sparrow’s widely acclaimed Tampa Fresh Foods artistic experience earlier this year.
“Like Water Street Tampa, we are focused on building community, challenging the status quo and reimagining the idea of ‘home,’” said Anderson. “We’re excited to open this first-of-its-kind location at Water Street Tampa, a neighborhood that reflects our company ethos with its forward-thinking design.”
Owned by brothers Samuel and Aaron Rodas, Yura Vine Brothers is a Tampa-based boutique plant shop specializing in indoor tropical houseplants, moss art and biophilic design. The new shop will offer hundreds of plants, including rare collector plants grown in Peru, where the Rodas brothers own a nursery to export tropical plants, as well as handmade planters and pottery.
Yura Vine Brothers will span 871 square feet on the ground floor of Cora, next to the recently opened Chill Bros. Scoop Shop, and prices will range from $4 to $425. Yura Vine Brothers also operates commercial and residential plant design services, making the store a full-service plant shop in Water Street Tampa.
“With its close-knit atmosphere, Water Street Tampa offers the ultimate sense of community. We wanted to be part of that experience, and with many of our clients already living in the neighborhood, it was a perfect match. We’re proud to move our business to Water Street Tampa,” said Samuel Rodas.
To date, SPP has signed leases with nearly 50 retailers throughout Water Street Tampa, securing national, regional and local concepts ranging from a full-service grocery store to several popular fitness brands to a locally owned boutique.
Spanning 56 acres and connecting Tampa’s central business district to its waterfront, Water Street Tampa is a thriving live-work-play district in downtown Tampa, bringing together new public spaces, homes, hotels, offices, retail and dining.
