• Valet scam linked to stolen luxury cars in 3 states (wyff4.com) — A string of luxury car thefts across three states began at an Embassy Suites in St. Augustine Beach, where police say an 18-year-old arrived in a stolen Audi and allegedly drove off in a guest’s Mercedes using a valet ruse. Investigators then traced similar tactics at hotels in Jacksonville, Savannah, and Myrtle Beach as the suspect reportedly posed as a professional athlete.
