Play: "Slipping"

The Studio@620 presents the Florida premiere of Daniel Talbott’s controversial drama about teen gay bullying. "Slipping" features Eli, an openly gay high-school senior who moves with his mother from San Francisco to Iowa after the violent death of his father and being dumped by his abusive boyfriend. A possible relationship with a boy at his new school "exposes Eli again to the possibility of closeness and the danger of being swallowed by it," the theater's description says.

The production runs through Feb. 19.

NOTE: The play contains scenes with occasional nudity.
