• Scammers target Villagers claiming unpaid ARC fees (villages-news.com) — Residents of The Villages who recently filed Architectural Review Committee applications are being hit with fake emails claiming they owe an application fee. The Sumter County Sheriff's Office stresses there is no such fee, urges Villagers not to click links or respond, and says suspicious messages should be reported while officials remove contact details from online forms.

• Thief drives off in Yamaha golf cart after Villager leaves key in ignition (villages-news.com) — A golf cart was stolen from a home on St. Thomas Lane in The Villages' Village of Glenbrook after the owner left the key in the ignition Sunday night. Deputies say surveillance video shows a woman driving away in the tan 2013 Yamaha four-seater, which has reflective lights and front shelving and is now listed in national and local stolen-vehicle alerts.

• Sales rep for The Villages wants evidence suppressed in DUI arrest (villages-news.com) — A sales representative for Properties of The Villages is challenging evidence in her February DUI case after a deputy found her asleep in an SUV on State Road 44 near Wildwood. Her attorney argues the deputy turned a welfare check into an unlawful stop, while records show she later failed sobriety tests and blew 0.220 before being released on bond.

- Just adopted a large Labrador from a breeder.
I want to get established with a veterinarian. In my 14 years here I have only used two vets. I don't particularly like most vets in TV mainly… (Nextdoor LaBelle North) - I need to wrap two gifts for a silent auction in clear cellophane so they can be easily viewed.
Where can I buy clear cellophane? I don't want a huge roll, will probably not use it again. I've looked at WalMart and Walgreens. Or any other… (Nextdoor Greenwood)
