• Mother hospitalized after parking lot stabbing at Acworth Chick-Fil-A (fox5atlanta.com) — A mother was hospitalized after a stabbing in the parking lot of the Chick-fil-A on Highway 92 near I-75 in Acworth, where off-duty local officers helped until paramedics arrived. Cherokee County deputies later used license plate reader technology to safely stop the daughter's car in Whitfield County, confirming two children inside were unharmed while the investigation continues and no charges are yet announced.
