• 17,000 potentially fatal doses of fentanyl seized in Coffee County (walb.com) — Law enforcement in Douglas seized about 35 grams of fentanyl after a months-long investigation, an amount officials say could equal more than 17,000 potentially lethal doses. Agents with the Douglas Coffee Drug Unit and D.I.C.E. Unit executed a search warrant on Winterset Circle, arresting a 48-year-old suspect on trafficking charges and stressing how the seizure likely prevented overdoses in the community.
