Alpharetta-Milton Election Results 2021: Unofficial Votes Tallied

ALPHARETTA-MILTON, GA — Election Day is over in Alpharetta and Milton, and voters have cast their ballots in the 2021 municipal election. Fulton County posted unofficial results online at 1:51 a.m. on Wednesday morning.

This year, voters in Alpharetta and Milton decided on races for City Council.

Eight city council candidates qualified for three City Council seats in the Alpharetta Nov. 2 municipal election for posts one, two and three.

The Alpharetta candidates are incumbent Donald F. Mitchell taking on Donna Murphy for City Council Post 1. Mitchell led at 1:51 a.m. with 3,647 votes out of the 6,569 reported.

Three people vied for City Council Post 2, including Michael Crupi, Abu Bakarr Jalloh and Brian Will. Will led the race for Post 2 with 3,039 votes out of the 6,332 cast, with Crupi leading Jalloh.

Three more took on City Council Post 3, including Douglas J. DeRito, Daniel McAlonan and Trey McConnell. DeRito had the lead for Post 3 with 2,907 votes out of the 6,304 cast, with McAlonan leading McConnell.

An overwhelming vote of "yes" was cast as of 1:51 a.m. for the Alpharetta Parks Bond Referendum.

In Milton, voters will elect a mayor and council members for District 1/Post 1, District 2/Post 1, and District 3/Post 1.

Peyton Jamison is running unopposed for mayor.

Adam D'Anella, Jami Tucker and Andrea Verhoff ran for District 1/Post 1. Tucker had the lead at 1:51 a.m. with 1,670 of the 3,657 votes cast, with Verhoff leading D'Anella.

For District 2/Post 1, Juliette Johnson ran unopposed. Jan Charles Jacobus ran unopposed for District 3/Post 1.

Alpharetta voters also decided if the city should issue a $29.5 million parks bond.

Alpharetta and Milton voters decided if the county-wide Transporation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax should be continued for another five years.
