Another Police Shooting: DUI Suspect Shot, Killed In Fulton
The deadly shooting marked the fourth time in just over a week that a suspect was shot by a law-enforcement officer in Atlanta and Fulton.

ATLANTA, GA — After a week during which law-enforcement officers shot three people in Atlanta — one of them fatally and two of them in one day — a police officer in nearby College Park shot and killed a man Sunday after stopping him on suspicion of drunk driving.
Terence Leslie, 32, was shot multiple times by a College Park Police Department officer at about 2:20 a.m. on Sunday, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
According to information from the early stages of the GBI's investigation, the officer stopped Leslie at an Exxon station on Camp Creek Parkway in neighboring East Point. As the officer was conducting a field sobriety test, Leslie began to fight with the officer, according to the agency.

The officer used a Taser on Leslie and Leslie grabbed for it, breaking the officer's arm, the GBI said. The officer then fired several shots at Leslie, striking him. He got back into his car, though, and drove a short distance before crashing into a pole at another gas station, a nearby Texaco.

Both Leslie and the officer were taken to a nearby hospital, where Leslie died from his injuries, according to the GBI. The officer was treated and was recovering at the hospital on Sunday.
East Point is about 15 miles southwest of downtown Atlanta, near Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
As is customary in Georgia, the GBI will investigate the case because it involves a law-enforcement officer shooting someone. Once completed, the agency's findings will be turned over to the Fulton County District Attorney's office for review.
The deadly shooting is the fourth of its kind in Atlanta and Fulton County since last week.
On Friday, an Atlanta Police Department officer shot a juvenile who was accused of helping steal a car. Police say one of two juveniles who were running away from officers brandished a gun but, as of Saturday morning, no weapon had been found at the scene.
The youth was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
Earlier that same day, off-duty Fulton County Sheriff's Office deputies shot and killed a man at an Atlanta bar and restaurant after authorities say he picked up a rifle in the business's parking lot.
Norris Duffy, 46, was shot and killed outside The Ivory Restaurant, at 599 Whitehall St. in southwest Atlanta. The shooting happened at about 4:50 a.m.
According to a preliminary GBI investigation, three Fulton sheriff's office deputies were working as security and found Duffy inside the restaurant arguing with someone else. They used a Taser to break up the altercation and Duffy was handcuffed, the GBI said.
They later released him and escorted him out of the restaurant and to his vehicle. That's when he pulled a rifle from his vehicle, according to investigators. One of the deputies fired several times, striking Duffy. He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
And, on Monday, William Savalas Davis, 38, was shot by an off-duty Georgia State University police officer who was working security at the Greyhound Station on Forsyth Street.
According to the GBI, Davis had reportedly been behaving erratically and harassing customers in and outside the station. He struggled with the officer, even after being sprayed with pepper spray, and the officer fired once, striking him. He was taken to Grady, where he was listed in stable condition.
