Tyke Hike Resumes In-Person Hikes for Families in October

Families are looking for safe, novel opportunities to spend time outdoors, and research shows that children who spend time outdoors are more resilient, creative and adaptive.
To help meet this need for Atlanta families, Tyke Hikes will resume in-person hikes this fall. Program participants will gather in small, outdoor, distanced groups with limited family units to ensure a special and safe experience for everyone.
Founded by Atlanta native and passionate environmental educator Anne Marie Hoffman, Tyke Hike offers a variety of opportunities for families with young children to experience the outdoors to encourage exploration, spark curiosity and promote physical activity and emotional wellness.

Each 75-minute Family Tyke Hike for children ages 2-5 includes a walk to explore the park, a craft or activity, story time, and opportunities to get to know each other and play socially-distanced games.
Below is a listing of scheduled Tyke Hike dates/times, themes and locations. Register online at tykehike.com; each program is $25 per child with sibling discounts available.
