• Two victims identified after hidden Riverwatch crash discovered (theaugustapress.com) — A 23-year-old Buena Vista resident, Devon Briggs, has been identified as one of two people killed in a car crash discovered off Riverwatch Parkway in Augusta. Investigators say the vehicle apparently left the road at high speed, overturned down an embankment, and remained hidden in dense brush for more than a day before family cellphone tracking helped locate it.
