• Sheriff's deputies solve unusual case after entire roof stolen from home (wftv.com) — A Butler resident has been arrested after Taylor County deputies say they cracked an unusual case involving a metal roof taken from a vacant home in nearby Reynolds. Investigators quickly identified multiple suspects within about 30 hours and expect more arrests. Authorities say it’s one of the most unusual thefts they’ve seen in decades of local law enforcement work.
