• FVSU Choir Earns Place Among Nation's Top HBCU Choral Programs (thehbcuadvocate.com) — Fort Valley residents can cheer on Fort Valley State University’s choir, which has been nominated for the first-ever HBCU Choir of the Year at the 41st Stellar Gospel Music Awards. The 45-member ensemble, formed in 2021, will represent both FVSU and Georgia in Charlotte this August, highlighting the university’s long choral tradition and the students’ academic, spiritual, and artistic growth.
