• Grady County plans $1.2 million industrial park building to attract new business and jobs to the area (wtxl.com) — Cairo is set to gain a new 20,000-square-foot industrial park building on the city's east side, a $1.2 million project aimed at attracting a manufacturer and at least 25 new jobs. Funded through state, local bank, and development authority dollars, the building could significantly expand work options beyond food service and public works for Grady County residents by June 2027.
