• NPS Awards $21.8 million in African American Civil Rights Preservation and History Grants (nps.gov) — Camilla is receiving $520,000 in federal funding to help rehabilitate the historic Georgia B. Williams Nursing Home, a key site in African American history. The grant is part of a $21.8 million National Park Service program supporting 55 civil rights preservation projects across 18 states, bringing significant investment and recognition to this Camilla landmark.
