Arrest Warrants Issued For Woman Accused of Entering Auto
Woodstock resident Joel Hustad and Misty Heath of Canton are suspected of taking electronics, cash and jewelry from cars in Towne Lake.

Detectives with the Cherokee Sheriff’s detectives have taken out arrest warrants for two suspects believed to be responsible for at least five thefts from vehicles in the Towne Lake area late Sunday night and Monday morning.

Joel Hustad, 22, of Woodstock and Misty Heath, 24, of Canton are suspected of taking electronics, cash and jewelry from cars in the Towne Lake Hills East and Eagle Watch subdivisions in Woodstock, the sheriff’s office said.
Hustad was arrested and charged earlier this week by Cobb County police in connection to the armed robbery of an East Cobb Kroger.

It appears all the vehicles were left unlocked, the sheriff’s office said. Heath is currently wanted for her charges.
The Cherokee Sheriff’s Office is using these incidents to remind citizens that the “number one way to protect yourself from becoming a victim of an entering auto theft is by locking your car door.“
“Suspects rarely use force to gain entry into a vehicle in a residential area,” the agency added.
