Bus Stop with a Cop is an event aimed at familiarizing our youth with the men and women who serve to protect them.
CANTON, GA -- Canton police wil have a "Bus Stop with a Cop" event Thursday, May 18, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The police will be at the Summer Club House area in the River green subdivision at 1000 Woodbury Rd. in Canton.
The event is focused on building relationship between students and parent of the community and their law enforcement officers. The event takes place at a bus drop-off point after school, according to the Canton Police blog.
The event is happening amid National Police Week, aimed at honoring fallen police officers and building relationships between the police and the communities they serve. Click here to see events happening this week in Woodstock.
