Canton Man Accused Of Killing Son-In-Law, Injuring Self, Dies
The 80-year-old man was accused in the shooting death of his son-in-law, whose body was found in a Butterworth Road driveway.
CANTON, GA — The man accused of shooting and killing his son-in-law Tuesday at Butterworth Road has died, the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office said Thursday.
Authorities identified the man as Robert Aycock, 80, of Canton. Authorities said Aycock turned a gun on himself Tuesday after shooting to death Paul Miceli, 55.
Aycock died of his self-inflicted injuries Thursday morning, authorities said. Miceli was found dead at the scene in a driveway.

Authorities told Patch Wednesday charges were not being filed at that time.
Authorities told Patch Thursday a motive in the shooting is still being investigated.
