• Mother Charged With Second-Degree Murder Following Toddler's Death In Georgia (tampafp.com) — Canton police have charged an 18-year-old mother with second-degree murder and related child cruelty counts after her two-year-old son was found unresponsive at a Cartersville Street home earlier this month. Her boyfriend was previously charged with malice murder, and both remain in the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center as investigators await autopsy results and the case moves through the courts.
