CANTON, GA -- The Georgia State Patrol has released the identity of the driver who was ejected and killed early Friday morning in a single-vehicle accident.
Lennis Steven Lammers, 46, died in the crash, which was reported around 4 a.m. April 15 on East Main Street just west of Breeze Hill Lane in Canton, the agency said.
The 2014 Ford pickup driven by Lammers was traveling westbound when, in an attempt to negotiate a right-hand curve "at a high rate of speed," it left the south edge of the road and traveled into the median, GSP said.
