Two Charged With Attacking Woman In Canton
The woman was injured May 31 during an altercation at Alexander Ridge Apartments.

CANTON, GA -- The Canton Police Department has charged two people in connection to an attack on a woman last week at an apartment complex.
Monique Motley, 17, of Canton and Norcross resident Terrell Williams, 18, are both charged with one count each of aggravated battery, the agency said Monday.
Officers were dispatched to a fight in progress call around 10:38 p.m. Wednesday, May 31 at Alexander Ridge Apartments. They arrived on the scene to find a woman suffering from a laceration to the forearm as well as trauma to her jaw and head, Canton police previously said.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Canton police detectives launched its investigation, which led to the identity and capture of the two suspects in the case.
