Officers say vehicles at the Comfort Inn on Klondike Road, Holiday Inn on Iris Drive, and Home 2 Suites on Old Salem Road were all hit. 
• Federal probe details cause of Conyers BioLab chemical fire (fox5atlanta.com) — A new federal report explains how a corroded sprinkler system triggered the 2024 chemical fire that destroyed the Conyers BioLab plant and forced mass evacuations across Rockdale County. Investigators say the warehouse held far more oxidizers than disclosed, corrosion warnings were ignored, and thousands of residents endured days of toxic gas concerns, school closures, and shelter-in-place orders.
• Convicted Felons Sentenced to Federal Prison on Drug Trafficking and Firearm Charges Following Deadly Crash (allongeorgia.com) — Federal prosecutors say a Conyers man, Daryl Hubbard, has been sentenced to more than 12 years in prison after a large-scale drug operation tied to properties in DeKalb County and his home in Conyers. Investigators seized drugs and multiple guns after a deadly 2023 chase and later raids on a Stonecrest stash house and Hubbard’s Conyers residence.
